Privacy Policy

Your memory should be portable, not opaque.

Effective date: April 2, 2026

This policy describes how Kareverie LLC handles information related to Memory Sync. It is written in plain English so users can understand what data is involved when they use the service.

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Kareverie LLC collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Memory Sync website, Chrome extension, and related services.

Memory Sync is designed to help you manage and transfer your own AI memory across supported platforms. We try to keep data collection limited to what is needed to provide the service, operate billing, and support users.

Information We Collect

When you sign in, we may receive account information associated with your Google identity, including your email address and basic profile details needed to identify your account.

When you use the extension, Memory Sync may store your Memory.md content, sync state, and related settings in your browser storage so the product can function.

If you subscribe or manage billing, payment and subscription information is processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our own servers.

  • Google account identifiers and email address for authentication and account lookup
  • Memory content and sync-related state stored through the extension
  • Subscription status, customer identifiers, and billing metadata from Stripe
  • Basic operational logs needed for debugging, abuse prevention, and service reliability

How We Use Information

We use collected information to authenticate you, check subscription status, enforce usage limits, deliver the core sync workflow, respond to support requests, and maintain the service.

We may also use limited operational data to investigate bugs, detect misuse, and improve product reliability. We do not sell your personal information.

How Information Is Shared

We share information only as needed to operate the service. That includes service providers such as Google for authentication and Stripe for billing and subscription management.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Kareverie LLC, our users, or others.

Data Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

No system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information under our control.

Your Choices

You can stop using the service at any time, remove the extension, and manage or delete content stored in your browser. You can also contact us to ask questions about your account or request assistance.

If you are a resident of a jurisdiction that grants privacy rights, you may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable and subject to legal limitations.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date and take other reasonable steps to provide notice when appropriate.
